Budo photography

I'm always impressed when someone is capable of taking good photography, and a friend of mine - Chris O'Neill - who studies martial arts with me is really very good at it. He took some pictures during training last week that are very nice indeed, and while I mostly keep this blog a budo-free zone, I thought this might be interesting to some people.

This is me with another friend, Shane Duggan. I'm not sure what we are doing, but it looks nice. From a technical perspective, I shouldn't really be bending my back quite so much as I throw Shane, but the picture captures the sense of dynamic movement well. Even though my technique is flawed, I still really like this image. Nice one Chris!
