What kind of person keeps a blog?
Well, it's a bit odd isn't it?
I used to a be a technology journalist, so I have been aware of blogs and blogging for years and years and years. I've never been drawn to actually have my own until recently, and in particular because of JamieFord's.
Mostly, this has been prompted by my interest in expressing my views in a particular way. Recently, a well regarded man I know said “Diaries only exist to really hurt people after you die” and of course he's right. So with that in mind, this won't be a diary, and it won't be designed to vent my personal difference with people. Instead, I'm going to treat it as an outlet for journalism I couldn't be bothered to actually try to sell.
So let's see how this goes . . .

Hurrah! The first comment. Thanks Jamie - your blog actually kicked off my interest in blogging. I've read loads but I'm going to use this one to make it hard to back out!
Good stuff Alex. I find a blog can't be like a diary really as you can't get into all the in's and pouts of the weirdo's you encounter without some elaborate code system.
This looks good though and I look forward to cool words, snaps and music from you.
Gambatte!
Great to see the Blog in action.
It is truly to become a thing of beauty I expect.
You've pushed me over the edge to embrace blogdom and have at it.
Forever in your debt...
